One

by Kathryn Otoshi (2008, Ko Kids Books, 16.95/hardback)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

There are many stories about bullies, but few have looked at the subject in such an attractive, original way. Here's how it goes: Blue is a quiet color. Red is a hot head. Red likes to pick on Blue… Yellow, Green, Purple, and Orange don't like what they see, but what can they do? When no one takes a stand, things get out of hand. Until ONE comes along and shows all the colors how to stand up and COUNT! Color. Grades Pre-K-5. [10” x 9.5”...36 pages]

It's Hard to Be a Verb!

by Julia Cook (2008, NCYI, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Being a verb is hard...especially for Louis, who can't seem to control himself when he gets the urge to move at the wrong time and situation. Louis' mom comes to the rescue by teaching him techniques to help keep his inner itching, twitching, and jumping to be a verb in check. This adorable book teaches children with ADHD that it is sometimes hard to be a verb, but they just have to focus. It teaches kids how to wiggle their wiggles before the wiggles wig them and that being a verb is not their fault. Color. Grades PreK-3. [9” x 8”...32 pages]

We're best known for two things...

__The way we pack (very carefully)
__The way we ship (very quickly)

We take packing seriously... Your books, DVDs, and CDs will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box, or in a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). Therapeutic games are packed in heavy-duty, double-wall boxes with plenty of room to pack with fill material. We pack around the books and games with plenty of packing material to protect them from any damage. And, when the order is sealed and ready to ship, we stamp the package with our traditional red stamp, "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM!" Just a reminderfor all who touch the package on it's journey to you!

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the U.S. since 1978. It will not be an accident that your books, therapeutic games, CDs, or DVDs will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games; 4.80 for one or more CDs or DVDs. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school and business addresses.
