Gifted Students...

The Gifted Kids' Survival Guide
: For Ages 10 & Under

by Judy Galbraith (2009, Free Spirit, 12.99)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

This book answers students’ questions about why they think and learn the way they do. It helps students with what “giftedness” and IQ really mean, the different types of intelligence, how to handle high expectations, how to make school more challenging, how to cope with teasing—even how to make friends! Grades 2-5. [7” x 9”...295 pages]

Smart Talk
: What Kids Say About Growing Up Gifted

by Robert Schultz & James Delisle (2006, Free Spirit, 13.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Based on a survey of thousands of gifted kids around the world, this book is about being different and being okay with that. It's about exploring what giftedness means, dealing with expectations, fitting in, coping with school, finding your passions, and looking ahead. It's about making mistakes, feeling bored, and sometimes hiding your abilities. Two-color illustrations. Grades K-5. [6” x 9”...115 pages]

We're best known for two things...

__The way we pack (very carefully)
__The way we ship (very quickly)

We take packing seriously... Your books, DVDs, and CDs will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box, or in a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). Therapeutic games are packed in heavy-duty boxes so they arrive in perfect condition. We also pack around the books and games with plenty of packing material to protect them from any damage. And, when the order is sealed and ready to ship, we stamp the package with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the U.S. since 1978. It will not be an accident that your books, therapeutic games, CDs, or DVDs will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games; 4.80 for one or more CDs or DVDs. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school and business addresses.
