Elana's Ears
: Or How I Became the Best Big Sister in the World

by Gloria Lowell (2000, Magination Press, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Wonderfully illustrated, this story neatly combines the topics of sibling jealousy and a child's hearing impairment. Lacey the dog likes her life as an "only child." So when her human Mom and Dad bring home a new baby, Elana, the sharp-talking Lacey isn't too happy about it! But when Lacey learns that Elana can't hear, she figures out how to become "Elana's ears," and becomes the best "big sister" in the world. Color. Grades K-3. [8” x 10”...32 pages]

[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Moses and his class attend a play performed by the Little Theatre of the Deaf. Color. [8.5” x 11”...32 pages]

Moses Goes to a Concert

by Isaac Millman (1998, Frances Foster Books, 5.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Moses and his classmates are deaf, and when they go on a field trip to a concert, they enjoy the music by feeling the vibrations. Deaf children will welcome this joyful story that talks, without condescension, about the fun they have. Hearing kids, too, will want to learn some of the sign language, and with the help of an adult, they can practice the hand-alphabet shown at the back of the book. Color. Grades K-3. [8.5” x 11”...40 pages]

We're best known for two things...

__The way we pack (very carefully)
__The way we ship (very quickly)

We take packing seriously... Your books, DVDs, and CDs will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box, or in a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). Therapeutic games are packed in heavy-duty boxes so they arrive in perfect condition. We also pack around the books and games with plenty of packing material to protect them from any damage. And, when the order is sealed and ready to ship, we stamp the package with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the U.S. since 1978. It will not be an accident that your books, therapeutic games, CDs, or DVDs will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games; 4.80 for one or more CDs or DVDs. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school and business addresses.
