The "Kid-to-Kid" Series...

These warm, humorous books offer kind-hearted guidance about important life skills. Each book in the series helps children explore how to manage their own feelings and how to respond when they meet those feelings in others.

At the end of each book are two pages of activities called, “Things to Do in the Kids Corner,” that reinforce the lessons in the book. Plus, there is a page of “Other Books to Read” that further illuminates the concepts that are presented. Color. Grades K-3. [7.5” x 8”...32 pages each]

I Feel Sad

by Brian Moses (1999, Sundance Pub., 7.50)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

This book discusses how sadness is sometimes caused by a dog getting sick, or parents arguing, or not being invited to a party, or when someone spoils a picture you paint at school. And, it points out how children can make other children sad—by calling them names, breaking their things, or saying mean things to them. The book ends: “If you feel sad, remember this—a frown is just a smile turned upside down.” Color. Grades K-3.

I Feel Shy

by Karen Bryant-Mole (1999, Sundance Pub., 7.50)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

I’ll Do It!
: Being Responsible

by Brian Moses (2000, Sundance Pub., 7.50)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

The book shows that being responsible is not forgetting to do things—at home and at school. Things like: not leaving clothes at school, not spilling drinks on computers, putting books back on shelves, etc. It aptly suggests that children can really feel grown-up when they learn to take care of other people, pets, and things. Color. Grades K-3.

It Wasn’t Me!
: Telling the Truth

by Brian Moses (2000, Sundance Pub., 7.50)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

This book makes it clear that telling a lie is usually a lot worse than whatever you did wrong in the first place. The author shows how lies grow and spread quickly. Then, children (and adults) often end up looking silly when others find out. This book focuses on not blaming others and not “...forgetting to tell the truth.” Color. Grades K-3.

The book concludes, "The next time I ask myself, 'Why wash?' I'll remember that I like to smell good, look good, and get rid of germs." Color. Grades K-3.

__The way we pack (very carefully)
__The way we ship (very quickly)

We take packing seriously... Your books, DVDs, and CDs will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box, or in a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). Therapeutic games are packed in heavy-duty boxes so they arrive in perfect condition. We also pack around the books and games with plenty of packing material to protect them from any damage. And, when the order is sealed and ready to ship, we stamp the package with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the U.S. since 1978. It will not be an accident that your books, therapeutic games, CDs, or DVDs will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).
