Nobody's Perfect
: A Story for Children about Perfectionism

by Ellen Flanagan Burns (2008, Magination Press, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Sally Sanders is good at everything she does, or so it seems. Secretly she is afraid that if she can't do something well, or be the best, she will feel like a failure. She is scared that she is not "good enough." As a perfectionist, hitting the wrong note at a piano recital, or not making the soccer team feels like the end of the world! Gradually, through the help of her teachers and mother, Sally learns to have fun and not worry so much about being the best. She realizes that making mistakes is a part of learning, and that doing her best is good enough. Color. Grades 3-7. [6” x 9”...48 pages]

Ish

by Peter Reynolds (2004, Candlewick Press, 14.00/hardback)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Drawing is what Ramon does. It's what makes him happy. In one split second, however, all that is changed. A single reckless remark by his older brother, Leon, turns Ramon's once carefree expressions into joyless struggles. Lucky for Ramon, his younger sister, Marisol, sees the world differently. She opens his eyes to something far more valuable than getting things just "right." Color. Grades 1-8. [8” x 7.5”...32 pages]

We're best known for two things...

__The way we pack (very carefully)
__The way we ship (very quickly)

We take packing seriously... Your books, DVDs, and CDs will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box, or in a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). Therapeutic games are packed in heavy-duty boxes so they arrive in perfect condition. We also pack around the books and games with plenty of packing material to protect them from any damage. And, when the order is sealed and ready to ship, we stamp the package with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the U.S. since 1978. It will not be an accident that your books, therapeutic games, CDs, or DVDs will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games; 4.80 for one or more CDs or DVDs. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school and business addresses.
