Canelo Alvarez has signed a four-fight deal with Riyadh Season, scuttling reports late Thursday that he was close to a deal for a boxing match with Jake Paul in May.

The Riyadh Season pact was announced by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia. Financial terms were not released.
