Field Guide to Counseling Toward Solutions: The Solution-Focused School
by Linda Metcalf (2008, Jossey Bass,
24.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]
When it was first published in 1995, Counseling Toward Solutions became an instant bestseller. The book offered a new and positive program for changing individual behavior that helped K-12 students with their own problems and gave them self-esteem in the process. Now, The Field Guide to Counseling Toward Solutions offers school counselors, teachers, and administrators a complete program for changing the way that schools deal with a variety of issues. From an alternative school program that enlists the power of teacher mentors to the elementary program that involves the teacher, parent, and student in the counseling process, this book shows how to make change happen and how to make it last. Grades K-12. [8.5” x 11”...124 pages]

We're best known for two things... The way we pack (very carefully); and the way we ship (very quickly).
We take book safety seriously... Your books will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box or a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). We also pack around the books with plenty of clean paper to keep the books from moving. And, when the order is ready to ship, we'll stamp the box with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.
Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the planet since 1978. We're one of those old-fashioned companies with real toll-free telephones—and real people to answer them. It will not be an accident that your books will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.
