Listening Games...

Listening Counts Game

Edited (2005, Franklin Learning Systems, 55.50)
     [Check/Credit Card Price...Less 21% = 43.84]

A new educational game that teaches six basic listening skills to elementary school students. Players learn skills that will help them be better listeners at home, with friends, and in the classroom. Skills include remembering to make good eye contact, avoiding interrupting, and interpreting body language correctly. Players have fun moving from cloud to cloud, picking cards, answering questions, practicing the six listening skills, and avoiding the rain clouds that could cost them a turn. There are two sets of rules to tailor the game to older and younger students. A Teacher's Guide with complete lesson plans for both versions of the game is included. Teachers and counselors are amazed how much players improve their listening skills during the play of the game. Grades 1 - 4.

Listen Up Card Game

Edited (1996, Childswork/Childsplay, 19.95)
     [Check/Credit Card Price...Less 21% = 15.76]

Teaches the same communication skills such as: repeating or paraphrasing, using body language, asking questions, and identifying feelings. Players take turns responding to Listen Up and Feedback cards, earning points based on their answers. As a cooperative game, pints are combined at the end of the game. Fun for kids and adults. Recommended for the mobile therapist, and for use with children and adolescents who don't like the board game format. Ages 8 to 18.

Order by 1:00 P.M. (Central Time)... We'll send a confirming e-mail, and normally ship the same day!

Tracking information ... We'll have the U.S. Postal Service or UPS send you tracking information each time your package is scanned.

We're best known for two things... The way we pack (very carefully); and the way we ship (very quickly).

We take book safety seriously... Your books will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box or a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). We also pack around the books with plenty of clean paper to keep the books from moving. And, when the order is ready to ship, we'll stamp the box with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the planet since 1978. We're one of those old-fashioned companies with real toll-free telephones—and real people to answer them. It will not be an accident that your books will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.50 for orders under 50.00; free shipping for any order over 50.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 5.00 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books. We normally use First Class Mail for home addresses; UPS for school addresses.
