Character Building in Teens...

Great Group Skits
: 50 Character-Building Scenarios for Teens

by Lynn Grasberg & Tina Oldenburg (2009, Search Institute Press, 16.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Rather than hampering teens with line-by-line dialogue that can sound dated and clunky, this book provides 50 different creative improv scenarios that let the studets decide where they want to go. They could be superheroes on the way to a burning building. Lawyers defending Earth from an intergalactic lawsuit (for hoarding all the pizza). Or a team in the middle of a dance competion. What happens next is their decision--and that lets them move beyond typical peer pressure lectures to develop creativity, self-reliance, and analytical skills. Grades 6-12. [6” x 9”...164 pages]

What Do You Stand For? For Teens
: A Guide to Building Character

by Barbara Lewis (2005, Free Spirit, 19.99)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

This book empowers teens to identify and build the character traits that are most important to them. True stories profile kids who exemplify positive traits and inspiring quotations set the stage for kids to think about, discuss and debate positive traits. Grades 4-9. [8.5” x 11”...172 pages]

Order by 1:00 P.M. (Central Time)... We'll send a confirming e-mail, and try to ship the same day!

Tracking information... We pay an extra fee to the U.S. Postal Service and UPS so we can monitor each package we ship. If you would like that tracking information also sent to you, just let us know.

We're best known for two things... The way we pack (very carefully); and the way we ship (very quickly).

We take book safety seriously... Your books will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box or a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). We also pack around the books with plenty of clean paper to keep the books from moving. And, when the order is ready to ship, we'll stamp the box with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the planet since 1978. We're one of those old-fashioned companies with real toll-free telephones—and real people to answer them. It will not be an accident that your books will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 4.80 for one or more DVDs; 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school addresses.
