Teen Manners are important...

How Rude!

The author blends humor with sound advice as he guides readers through the world of manners from A ("Applause") to Z ("Zits"). Family Manners for Teens
: Avoiding Strife in Family Life

by Alex Packer (2004, Free Spirit, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

When family life is full of strife, what can a poor teen do? This book covers the basics of creating the civilized home—a place where people talk instead of yell, pick up after themselves, respect each other, and fight fair. And it's not all about the traditional family. Tips also cover the blended, shaken, stirred, and mixed (or mixed-up?) family, with special advice for teens whose parents are divorced. Grades 6-12. [5.5” x 7”...128 pages]

Friendship & Dating Manners for Teens
: Surviving the Social Scene

by Alex Packer (2004, Free Spirit, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Is there a proper way to make new friends? Is teasing always rude? What can you do about friendship problems? How can you show a girl (or guy) that you like her (or him)? What's the best way to ask someone out…and who pays for the date? This book answers these questions and many more. Along the way, teens learn the basics of polite behavior with friends and more-than-friends—and laugh out loud while learning. Grades 6-12. [5.5” x 7”...128 pages]

School Manners for Teens
: Civility in the Hallowed Halls

by Alex Packer (2004, Free Spirit, 9.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

What counts as rude behavior in school? What can you do when a teacher is rude? When someone tries to copy off of your paper during tests, should you tell or not? What's the best way to handle bullies and bigots? Is there anything worse than cafeteria food? School can be cruel. Here's sound advice (touched with humor) for teens who want to make it more bearable. Grades 6-12. [5.5” x 7”...128 pages]

We're best known for two things... The way we pack (very carefully); and the way we ship (very quickly).

We take book safety seriously... Your books will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box or a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). We also pack around the books with plenty of clean paper to keep the books from moving. And, when the order is ready to ship, we'll stamp the box with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the planet since 1978. We're one of those old-fashioned companies with real toll-free telephones—and real people to answer them. It will not be an accident that your books will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 4.80 for one or more DVDs; 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school addresses.
