Helping Children Cope in Stepfamilies...

Jessica's Two Families
: Helping Children Learn to Cope with Blended Households

by Lynne Hugo (2005, New Horizon Press, 8.95)
[See Discounts and Free Shipping option at bottom of page]

Seven-year-old Jessica is feeling overwhelmed and confused. On one hand, she is excited, her dad just remarried and she now has a brother and a sister. But on the other hand, she now has two of everything; two sets of parents, two homes, two sets of rules, and two new step-siblings. In this colorfully illustrated, poignant and sensitive story, we follow Jessica as she copes with the problems and stresses. Color. Grades K-5. [8” x 7”...48 pages]

Free Shipping... Just order 25.00 or more! There is a 3.95 charge for orders under 25.00.

Order by 1:00 P.M. (Central Time)... We'll send a confirming e-mail, and try to ship the same day!

Tracking information... We pay an extra fee to the U.S. Postal Service and UPS so we can monitor each package we ship. If you would like that tracking information also sent to you, just let us know.

We're best known for two things... The way we pack (very carefully); and the way we ship (very quickly).

We take book safety seriously... Your books will be shrink-wrapped on a heavy piece of cardboard, and placed in a heavy-duty box or a padded mailing bag (depending on the size of your order). We also pack around the books with plenty of clean paper to keep the books from moving. And, when the order is ready to ship, we'll stamp the box with our traditional red "HANDLE WITH ENTHUSIASM" stamp.

Our customers tell us... That we are pretty good at what we do. And we ought to be! We've been dispatching books to all corners of the planet since 1978. We're one of those old-fashioned companies with real toll-free telephones—and real people to answer them. It will not be an accident that your books will arrive in perfect condition. We make sure they will.

Standard Shipping... 3.95 for orders under 25.00; free shipping for any order over 25.00 (including Purchase Orders).

Expedited Shipping... 4.80 for one or more DVDs; 6.95 for one book; 9.95 for two or more books; 12.95 for board games. We normally use Priority Mail (First Class) for home addresses; UPS for school addresses.
