WASHINGTON The acting Deputy Attorney General said on Wednesday that FBI agents who were following orders to work on Jan. 6 investigations are not at risk of termination, and he accused FBI leaders of "insubordination" for failing to comply with demands for information about those cases, according to a memo seen by Reuters.

"Let me be clear: No FBI employee who simply followed orders and carried out their duties in an ethical manner with respect to January 6 investigations is at risk of termination or other penalties," wrote Emil Bove.
