Finishing the month slightly above average for precipitation, with one of the snowiest Aprils in the past few decades, Flagstaff inched closer to its normal totals for the season as the city’s average temperature for the year slightly dropped.
A total of 13.5 inches of snow was recorded last month, the 24th-most for April and the third-most for April since 2000. Flagstaff had not finished an April with double-digit snowfall since 2012’s 10.4 inches.
