Returning for its third year, the East Flagstaff Community Market will kick off a month earlier for 2025 and shift to a new location.
Scheduled for five Saturdays between May and September, the market will relocate along U.S. Highway 89 in the Flagstaff Mall parking lot near theĀ Desert Financial Credit Union building. Each market will take place on the third Saturday of the month, beginning with May 17. The new location is just a half mile away from the previous space at theĀ Flagstaff Nissan Subaru dealership.
"We're incredibly grateful for our time at Flagstaff Subaru and the relationships we've built with our customers and vendors," saidĀ Amanda Parais, who created the market in 2023. "As we prepare for this exciting move to our new location right on the edge of Highway 89, we're looking forward to the new opportunities it brings. With increased visibility and easier access, weāre confident this transition will make a positive impact on the community, customers and vendors."
Running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the other markets are scheduled for June 21, July 19, Aug. 16 and Sept. 20. Vendors will include honey, all-natural tallow, vintage clothing, baked goods, fiber arts, garden decor and herbal tea among other handcrafted good made by Flagstaff locals.
Beginning in June 2023, the market was held five times during its initial year and returned last June for the first of four markets in 2024.
