For anyone who believes momentum doesn't exists in the world of sports, the two-day, two-city, second-round playoff matchup between the Flagstaff Eagles and Poston Butte Broncos may sway your opinion ever so slightly.
While the National Weather Service's report showed just 0.1 of an inch of rain fell on Tuesday, it was still enough to wash out not only Flagstaff's home playoff game against Poston Butte, but the high-powered offenses on display for the first two innings played up at elevation.
