Gallery: Snow play after the storms
Snow play was popular this weekend after a storm dropped powder on the city Thursday and Friday. Two serious storms in the span of nine days have accounted for most of Flagstaff's 35.6 inches of snow in March so far, well above the normal 9.8 inches through the middle of the month.

Two serious storms in the span of nine days have accounted for most of Flagstaff's 35.6 inches of snow in March so far, well above the normal 9.8 inches through the middle of the month. The much-needed weather still hasn't been enough to bring the region above normal for the season, however, with 46.8 inches compared to the usual 78.2. The forecast for this week calls for sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 50s, other than a 40% chance of snow Tuesday.
