Our "Monday Morning Ed-U-Upper" is very widely
read.
It's free, and goes all over the world every Monday
morning. You will find it short, filled with humor, great quotes, often
great motivational pieces, fresh ideas, and bits of this and that. The
goal: Entertain!
It's easy to get on, and
easy to get off this list.

Some stories can't be printed...
Delivering his speech at the opening banquet of a national convention,
a school superintendent explained an innovative practice that his district
developed that seemed to show promise for other schools around the
country. He told several anecdotes he expected to repeat at meetings
the next day with reporters from various media.
Because he wanted to use the jokes again, he requested that the
reporters omit them from any accounts they might turn in to their
newspapers. A cub reporter, in commenting on the speech, ended his
piece with the following:
"Dr. __________, a school superintendent from __________,
told a number of stories that cannot be printed here."

The generations explained...
In its January 22, 2008 edition, the Quebec City newspaper, Le Soleil,
had a topic about generations by age group.
Generations are grouped as follows:
__The Silent generation, people born before 1945.
__The Baby Boomers, people born between 1945 and 1961.
__Generation X, people born between 1962 and 1976.
__Generation Y, people born between 1977 and 1989.
"On life's report card,
attitude counts,
enthusiasm counts,
a commitment to lifelong learning counts,
hard work counts,
and helping others counts.
If you go all-out, you will feel the difference in the quality of your life,
and that is what success is all about."
