U.S. Paralympics Swimming named Northern Arizona University's Keegan Knott to its roster for the 2025 Para Swimming World Championships, which are scheduled for Sept. 2127 in Singapore.
Knott is one of 13 women and seven men selected to represent Team USA at the competition, which features numerous Paralympic and world champions and showcases the depth of the national program as it enters the first year of the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic cycle.
An incoming junior, Knott is a two-time Paralympian who competed in the Tokyo 2020 Games, where she placed 12th in the 400-meter Freestyle S9, and the Paris 2024 Games, finishing 10th in the same event. This will mark her debut at the World Championships.
Knott was born with a congenital femoral deficiency, resulting in a shorter right leg and a fused right ankle. She made her international debut for Team USA at the Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru.
The 2025 World Championships will be the final major international para swimming event of the year, with more than 600 athletes from over 60 countries expected to compete.
