The bar is covered in images of people having fun, and it compels visitors to do the same.

Jerry Nichols, known as Dub from local music group Dub and Down with the Blues, opened Vibe in May after spending months renovating the space to become a venue for teens and adults alike. Located on Fourth Street just across from Fratelli’s, Nichols hopes this venue can become both a safe space for teens during the day and a place where adults can cut loose in the evening.
“When I came across this space, when I walked in the building, I knew I had to have this place. It was something, said Nichols. “You could do so much with this space. As an artist, I know it’s hard to book shows, and so this will make it easier to throw their own shows. It’s hard for artists coming up here.
