A recent poll of 2,000 adults has found that 73% of people can’t imagine going a full day without looking at a screen. The survey was commissioned by Artelac and found six in 10 adults said that they stare at screens more working from home. Respondents' eyes seem to be paying the price for the heavy screen usage, with 41% of people saying they experienced dry eyes. Many respondents said that they struggled to keep their eyes open by around 6 p.m. Encouragingly, 45% of respondents said they’re open to the idea of having a screen break. 64% of respondents admitted that they spend way too much time staring at their screens.
