Protests planned at Grand Canyon NP on Saturday in conjunction with nationwide demonstrations

A protest was being planned for Saturday at Grand Canyon National Park for people to show support for public lands and the federal staff in charge of taking care of those lands, according to a press release.

Protesters will gather at noon at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center and the Desert View Plaza. Organizers asked those gathering to bring signs, American flags, hats, sunscreen and water.
