A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carrying the Space Based Infrared System Geosynchronous Earth Orbit-6 (SBIRS GEO 6) mission for the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command lifted off on Thursday from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. SBIRS is a missile warning satellite for U.S. Space Force. The satellite and the rocket safely separated. ULA has launched 152 times with 100 percent mission success.
