Au revoir Red: Flagstaff bids farewell to country western artist Red McAdam

Country western artist Red McAdam has graced Flagstaff stages since landing in town mid-pandemic to pursue wilderness EMS work. With a bit of a focus shift for McAdam in late 2022, The Museum Club, Mountaintop Tap Room, Hotel Monte Vista and other in-town venues had soon become home to McAdam’s alternative honky tonk tunes.

Throughout his time in Flagstaff, McAdam curated his band, Red McAdam and the Lemme At ‘Ems and honed in his sound, eventually releasing an album in 2023, entitled “The Late, Great Delta 88 Band. McAdam also branched out as a musician, bringing out of town acts into Flagstaff to perform and by getting out on tour, bringing local artists with him, like Sierra Bryan and Dusty Rug.
