Well, friends, neighbors, fellow animal lovers of Flagstaff and northern Arizona, it seems the time has come to hang up my stethoscope, at least in this public forum. For over a decade, this column has served as my sounding board, confessional, and humble attempt to share a sliver of the beautiful, messy, and utterly captivating world of veterinary medicine. 365betÌåÓýÔÚÏßÊÀ½ç±, with bittersweet nostalgia and a quiet sense of completion, I write my final “Ask the Vetâ€ column.
For as long as I can remember, a profound connection with the animal kingdom has been a guiding force in my life. The privilege of being their voice, of easing their suffering, and of witnessing the unbreakable bond they share with their humans has been an immeasurable gift.
