NAU closes Flagstaff campus due to winter weather

Northern Arizona University (NAU) announced Friday morning that its Flagstaff campus would be closed that day due to the winter storm.

The announcement cited predictions of continued snowfall and winds from the National Weather Service (NWS) and that travel is discouraged. NWS has issued a winter weather advisory from 3 p.m. on Friday, March 14, through 5 a.m. Saturday. It is predicting an additional 4-6 six inches of snow in Flagstaff during that time.
