Flagstaff Unified School District has added two electric school buses to its fleet.

The Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for two new electric buses as part of Bus Driver Appreciation Day.

FUSD was awarded $790,000 to purchase the buses as part of the 2023 grant cycle for the EPA's Clean School Bus program. The remainder of the cost -- which, including this grant, totals $1,039,854.47 -- comes from 2018 bond funds.
