Flagstaff’s Environment Year in View: Completed flood mitigation efforts and hotter temperatures

Higher-than-normal temperatures persisted throughout the summer season and well into fall. Although there were a couple snowstorms this year, the average temperatures remained warm throughout the year.

Mexican gray wolves were continually in the spotlight as well, as activists fought to expand the border the canines are allowed to roam.
