According to NAZ Elite head coach Jack Mullaney, Ahmed Jaziri owns a photo of him and Mohamed Amin Jhinaoui from back when they were both second graders.
Jaziri and Jhinaoui both competed in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, representing Tunisia in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase. They grew up together in the same small hometown of Rades. Jhinaoui finished fourth at the Paris Games with a time of 8:07.73 and Jaziri was fifth in 8:08.02.
