One hundred years following the release of the iconic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, "The Great Gatsby," Flagstaff's Uptown Pubhouse is partying it up in style.
On April 11, Uptown will throw it back to the Roaring '20s, with elements that make the experience as if traveling back in time, emcee Dapper Dre said. Encouraging attendees to dress as though it's the 1920s, he said that the event's $10 cover charge is free for those in Gatsby-era attire, as the costumes really help set the scene.
Gatsby Night has been taking place since 2011, and each year a costume contest determines the Best Dressed attendee.
