Noah Clark of the Flagstaff Home Educators won Coconino County’s annual spelling bee on Saturday, correctly spelling the word "wimple" for the win.
Put on by the Coconino County Education Service Agency (CCESA), the 2024 edition of the bee took place in Coconino High School’s auditorium, with students from 14 schools across the county competing to qualify for the state spelling bee in Phoenix next month.
